Femme Fever II (January 2008)
As part of Midsumma. Co-organised with Jennifer Lee. The night was about embracing all things femme, from femme people and those who love ‘em. I read a piece about girly things that were gross (which later became a bit in my stand up act).

Come As You Are (January 2007)
As part of Midsumma. Co-organised with Jennifer Lee, it centred around pansexuality, queerness and love for more than one gender. I read out apiece about what a gay little kid I was, and how much I hate the term ‘bisexual’.

Words on Tap (November 2006)
Organised as part of the now-defunct DAKS group I co-founded. A gig in which I read out my first (and only to date) fiction spoken word piece, ‘Reclaiming Lydia’.

True Teen Confessions (2005)

My first ever spoken word event, I read out a piece called ‘An Open Letter to All Teenagers’. I concluded by admitting that it’s not entirely teenagers’ fault that they’re awful; things do suck more nowadays. Obviously, I highlighted this by bringing up Billy Corgan.
